We wanted to create something new, innovative, and interesting. I fell in love with the clasp-less bracelet trend in jewellery but wanted to design a piece in a way that allowed our George & Co Family to switch them out. After a lot of back and forth and redrawing designs, we came up with a unique mechanism. This line is all about our adversity and the way we adapt to the changes in life. Life is about embracing change and accepting that sometimes we must shift our vision. Each item is lovingly named. The Allegra Charm is named after one of my best friends, one of our biggest supporters since we began, she has a necklace with a heart similar to this one so I created this to match hers.

We’re not just any normal jewellery brand so we’ve got some promises to make. We promise quality pieces that are hand-crafted. We promise jewellery made with stories for your moments. We promise ethically made pieces and designs by us for you.

We know what you’re thinking, ‘what’s ethical jewellery?’ well in a nutshell it’s jewellery that has no negative impact on the people who create it or the environment they’re made in. Here’s where we come in, our pieces are only handmade in small batches by talented jewellery artisans in Bali, Indonesia (Bonus! Our co-owner Larisa is Indonesian). All our jewellery has a Sterling Silver base, and our jewellery artisans use recycled silver. They melt and refine broken jewellery in order to create the extraordinary pieces we design.

We hope you love your George & Co piece just as much as we do. But what’s love without care? Here’s how to care for your brand-new moment in the making:

· Avoid perfume on the piece

· Keep it in dry condition

· Use a soft cloth to polish (p.s. we include one in your very important delivery)

· Take it off before showering (yes, we know it’s hard to be apart, but it has to be done)
